How do I get a news or blog article posted?

The Web Team periodically watches the Facebook Groups “Empire of Medieval Pursuits”, “Kingdom of Ardesca”, and “Ardesca House of Lords” for important posts, and we’ll copy them into the News section on this site. But we don’t monitor Facebook non-stop so we might not see your important news, or even decide at the time we see it that it should go up here.

Remember that all requests to post news/blogs is subject to approval, rejection, or removal by the Royal Court or the Web Team.

Here’s a few ways you can get something on the site:

Use the Contact Form

Go to the Contact page and use the form; be sure to set the Purpose field accurately. Some items we’d like you to have ready to go:

  • Title of post

  • Body of post

  • Is the content in-game or out-of-game in voice?

  • Contact info if readers wish to follow-up with questions or comments

Comment-Tagging in Facebook Posts

It’s harder for us, but undoubtedly easier for you. Just remember we don’t guarantee that we’ll see your tag in our busy activity feeds, or that we’ll take action this way.

In any of the groups above, you should be able to tag Stigrúnr (Ryan Welsh), with a quick message for context that what you’re commenting on should become a News article. Please tag me in comments only. Do not tag an original post as “being with Ryan Welsh”…unless you’re with me or I’m actually directly involved with the post. I will delete these tags so they don’t pollute my own feed.

If you’re not receiving acknowledgement, I’m simply not seeing your tag. I could be buried with work, not active on Facebook, or unable to see the content you’re comment-tagging me on (is it Public?).

If all of this is too confusing: see using the Contact form above.
