A very common question among new EMP members and the curious and interested non-members.
The easiest answer is to start on the Fiefdoms page of this website.
In the intro section, you will find a link to a Google Map that displays the location in the Mundane Realm that each Fiefdom is centered around. In some cases, a Fiefdom is centered in one location, but may have a large group of members far away, so you may see a second listing for a branch to indicate where those large clusters of members are located. Our Royal Steward is working on a much more thorough version of this map, so this map may be replaced in the future by something better.
Alternatively, while exploring each Fiefdom’s page — which are all linked from this main Fiefdom directory — you’ll find a map on each Fiefdom’s page.
Fiefdom locations do not dictate which Fiefdom you may join
In other re-enactment games, the Kingdom or Fiefdom you must join is dictate by where you live in relation to a Kingdom or Fiefdom’s borders. This is not the case with the Empire of Medieval Pursuits. Assuming you negotiate permission with a Fiefdom’s Lord or Lady, you may join any Kingdom (we only have one at the moment) or Fiefdom within the Empire you desire.
