I get asked about my Viking garb at events quite often. Most of it is from Midgaarb.
After taking my measurements, I sent them off to Brittany to make a linen tunic as well as a woolen overtunic for the colder months. She worked with me to ensure that the sleeves on the undertunic were slightly longer so they would show under the overtunic, so the bottom hem on the under was shorter to be hidden by the over, and so the necklines also layered to show the undertunic slightly when worn with the overtunic. It all came out PERFECTLY to order. Never had garb that fit so well.
Additionally, the wool leg wraps are a great length and amazing quality.
The wool hood I also ordered is perfect. I love the way it wears with the hood up — great visibility, not struggling to see out of a slit like on other hoods.
I can’t wait to order a set of trousers, and either a kaftan or a cloak, in the future.
