How do I get information on my Fiefdom page updated or corrected?

Every Fiefdom (“Branch”) in the Kingdom gets a listing on the website under Fiefdoms where visitors can learn more about your Fiefdom. Generally this is what we display:

  • Name of Fiefdom

  • A description of your Fiefdom that represents its culture and goals

  • Fiefdom heraldry

  • Head of Branch information: The title of the Lord/Lady(s), and their persona name(s)

  • Link to Charter document (hosted by the Royal Steward in the Kingdom’s Google Drive, not your copy), a website, any Facebook Pages or Groups, any Instagram account for the branch, etc.

  • Map showing the physical location in the Mundane Realm your Fiefdom is based out of.

Process

All changes are subject to approval or rejection by the Royal Steward or the Crown.

Prerequisites

  • You must be your Fiefdom’s Head of Branch (Lord/Lady) to proceed.

  • You must have a current and approved Charter filed with the Royal Steward. If you have not done so, or are not sure, first check the Current Charters folder in Drive and then check in with the Steward if necessary to confirm before you proceed.

  • You must have digital heraldry.

    • Some tips on that:

      • Make sure it’s not tiny.

      • Make sure it’s cropped appropriately (no huge white spaces around it). This will make your heraldry look inconsistent with or smaller than the rest.

      • PNG format with transparent background is preferred, especially if it’s not a perfect rectangle/square (for example, pennant/flag or circular shapes). This avoids white that shouldn’t be present if used against a non-white background.

      • For the love of the Old Gods and the New: don’t send a photograph of your flag/banner.

    • Is your preferred heraldry included in this Google Drive folder?

      • If it is not: Get a copy of it over to the Royal Steward ASAP.

      • If it is: Contact the Web Team and let us know your heraldry is in the Steward’s / Lords’ heraldry folder where it should be.

  • You must have a description blurb written for your branch.

Steps

  1. Use the form on the Contact page to engage the Web Team; use the appropriate Purpose field. You will not be able to attach files, but you can send us the heraldry once we respond via email.

  2. Include any and all information described at the beginning of this article that needs to be updated.

  3. Wait for the Web Team to respond. They’ll gather any additional information required.

Tips

  • Proofread and edit your info before you send it in. This information represents your branch and leadership.

    • Unless your name is Ulfblood or you’re from the Savage Lands; your typos are expected, encouraged, and thoroughly enjoyed. :-)

  • If there is wrong, missing, or outdated info, please don’t come at the Web Team with accusations that we’re picking on, or singling anyone out. We honestly don’t care about Game politics when it comes to running this site. Do not make demands of priority. We’re a small team of volunteers doing a lot of work in our own spare time. Be nice; be excellent. We’re here to help.
